The ceremony was carried out this Saturday, May 3 at 10.30, in Punta delk Este, with the presence of the CONMEBOL Vice-president and President of the Futsall and Beach Soccer Commission, Eugenio Figueredo (Uruguay); the general secretary of CONMEBOL, Eduardo Deluca (Argentina); the representative of the Local Organizing Committee Enrique Romero, and the representative of the Paraguayan Football Association, Juan Carlos Olihguela.

The groups for the first phase were conformed as follows:

Group A, Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela Group B, Paraguay, Peru and Bolivia Group C, Uruguay, Brazil, Ecuador and Chile

The winners of each group, plus the second of group C, will pass to semifinals. The three best teams in the tournament will be qualified for the World Cup that will take place in Brazil. If the verdeamarello combine occupies one of the first three positions, the 4th best team in the Copa America will then obtain passage to the planetary tournament.
